Bashanta Gurung is a licensed trekking guide with more than a decade of experience in Nepal’s tourism and trekking industry. He started his journey in 2014 as a porter and gained four years of hands-on mountain experience before becoming a licensed guide.
Known for his humble, friendly, and caring nature, Bashanta has strong knowledge of Nepal’s trekking trails, high-altitude routes, and challenging mountain passes. His years in the mountains have taught him how to handle changing weather, steep terrain, altitude-related challenges, and difficult trail conditions.
He carefully looks after his guests by focusing on proper pacing, acclimatization, rest, hydration, and overall well-being, especially at high altitude. With his practical mountain experience and official trekking guide identity card issued by the Valley Tourism Office, Bagmati Province Government, Bashanta is committed to providing responsible guidance and helping trekkers complete their journeys safely and comfortably.
