Ramesh Gurung is a licensed trekking guide with more than 13 years of experience in Nepal’s tourism and trekking industry. He started his journey in 2013 as a porter, gaining two years of hands-on mountain experience before becoming a professional guide.
Known for his humble, friendly, and caring nature, Ramesh has extensive knowledge of Nepal’s trekking trails and high mountain passes. He is trained in first aid and understands how to care for guests at high altitude through proper pacing, acclimatization, hydration, rest, and careful monitoring.
His experience facing challenging weather, steep terrain, and high-altitude conditions helps him remain calm and make practical decisions when difficulties arise. Ramesh holds an official Trekking Guide Identity Card issued by the Valley Tourism Office, Bagmati Province Government and is committed to providing responsible, safe, and comfortable trekking experiences.
